Founded in 2003, by Elder Herman L Love III and small group of believers. Life Touch lives up to it's name. Our focus is sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world and creating a safe atmosphere where everyone can worship God freely. We are committed to your spiritual and personal growth in the Lord. We are a Bible based ministry that operate in love and provide ministry for all people. There is a place for you right here at Life Touch Ministries, call us today. There are two ways to become a member: In-person or our I-Church (Internet Church).

Our Story
In the Spring of 2003, Elder Herman Love saw a vision of a crowded room with people in shackles. Above their heads were various banners detailing their issues. As the people were crying out for help, Elder Love heard a voice "Speak the Word that I have placed inside of you". Elder Love began to declare the Word of God and the banners disappeared and the shackles fell off of the people. The people began to rejoice and when Elder Love came out of the vision, the name Greater Joy was birthed.
October 12, 2003 Greater Joy Temple held it's grand opening service. In 2005, the church went through a transitional period, the membership came together and began to pray and push through that dark time. In 2008, we changed the name to Greater Calvary Worship Center. The church began to grow and become vibrant. In 2010, the congregation moved to Detroit, Michigan.
After much prayer and consecration the Lord instructed Elder Love to return back to Ypsilanti and continue the work. In 2013, Life Touch Ministries Church of God in Christ was birthed. Since 2013, Life Touch has become a pillar in the city of Ypsilanti, Michigan and surrounding areas providing food for the hungry, school supplies for the children, along with meeting the spiritual needs of the body of Christ. In 2020, our internet church was revitalized welcoming our fellowship churches in Haiti, Pakistan, Kenya, and India. Also in 2021 Life Touch Ministries has become the Headquarters church for the Kindgom Life District under the Ontario United Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ. Our focus is Jesus Christ. John 12:32 says "If I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all men unto me". To God be the glory!
